Celebrate the Process

Monday on the blog we talked about the process; the processes that we all go through. The process of coming, the process of going, the process of knowing, the process of growing; we are all in a process. Life itself is a process. It is a series of obstacles and victories, alleyways and pathways, all leading to where ever we may be going. Yes, those processes. We all go through them. In fact, we are all in one right now.

In some way we are all in the process, in a process. For you, it may be a fun and exciting process to be in. But then again, you may be in a hard, messy process. It may be a frustrating process. Maybe the process is slower than you would like. From my experience processes are usually slower than we would like them to be. But it is what happens during the process that will shape who we are.

Right now, in the midst of whatever process you are in, there are wonderful things happening. The process is shaping you, it is developing something in you, it is maturing you as a person. You are probably learning more about perseverance and patience than you ever thought you would like to. Just as straining muscles is uncomfortable the outcome is strength. Fitness is a slower process than anyone would like, but it is a necessary process and a process that reaps many benefits.

This weekend I hope you can recognize the process you are in, no matter the discomfort, will bring change to your life. It will shape who you are if you can embrace it and utilize it. So celebrate the process. It may be slow in coming, but remember, it is … a process. Embrace it and celebrate it.
